Rampage Defenseman Chris Butler Recalled to St. Louis Blues

SAN ANTONIO - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong today announced that the club has recalled defenseman Chris Butler from the American Hockey League's (AHL) San Antonio Rampage. Additionally, the Rampage have recalled defenseman ?Nolan De Jong from the Colorado Eagles (ECHL).

Butler, 31, has dressed in 52 games for the Rampage this season, tallying 24 points (8g/16a) and 16 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-1, 196-pound defenseman has also played in two games for the Blues. A native of St. Louis, Butler was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 16, 2014.

De Jong has appeared in 50 games with the Eagles this season, recording seven points (2g/5a) and 22 penalty minutes. He made four appearances with the Rampage during his previous recall, making his AHL debut on Feb. 23 at Tucson.

The Silver and Black travel to California for a contest against the Ontario Reign on Sunday, March 11 at 5 p.m. CT at Citizens Business Bank Arena.
