
Rampage announce 2005-06 opening night roster

SAN ANTONIO - Oct. 7, 2005 - The San Antonio Rampage announced today the club's opening night roster for the 2005-06 American Hockey League (AHL) regular season. The Rampage, the primary affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes, will have the following 22 players on their opening night roster:

The Rampage open their fourth AHL season with a home-and-home set beginning tonight against their intrastate rivals, the Houston Aeros, at the Toyota Center at 7:35 p.m. The two teams will face-off again in the Rampage's home debut tomorrow night at the SBC Center with the puck dropping at 7:00 p.m. Saturday night is WWE Night where fans can get autographs from WWE stars Christy Hemme and San Antonio's own Funaki, in addition to picking up a 2005-06 Rampage Schedule Magnet upon entering the SBC Center. Tomorrow night is also an Express News Value Night. Fans can find a coupon in tomorrow's Express News good for one ticket, a hot dog, soda and chips for $15. Those in attendance are encouraged to stick around after the game for a post-game skate with several of the Rampage players.
