Rain suspends Defenders Wednesday night

PORTLAND, ME- The Defenders and the Portland Sea Dogs game 3 of the best of 4 series was suspended due to rain and wet grounds.

The game was suspended at the end of the 4th inning where the Sea Dogs had a 2-1 lead. The game originally had a two hour rain delay with a start time at 9:01pm then the second delay lasted 45 minutes before it was suspended.

The teams will continue the suspended game tomorrow at noon from Hadlock Field in Portland with a 25 minute intermission, then begin the final game of series with a 7 inning match up.

All the action will be strictly called on www.ctdefenders.com starting with the AT&T Real Yellow Pages Pre-Game Show at 11:50am.
