New Britain, CT - The New Britain Rock Cats announced two roster moves today, each involving an Infielder.

Steve Tolleson, a 24-year-old resident of Knoxville, TN, and a 2008 Eastern League All-Star, has been restored to New Britain's active roster after having been disabled with a broken bone in his right index finger. The University of South Carolina product - the Minnesota Twins' 5th Round selection in the 2005 Draft - had been among the League's leading hitters before going to the DL on June 30th. He returns to action tonight in New Britain with a .335 Batting Average to go with 21 Doubles, 1 Triple, 5 HRs and 34 RBI.

Brian Dinkelman, a 24-year-old resident of Irvington, IL, has been placed on the Disabled List with a mild strain in his right elbow. The McKendree College (IL) product was Minnesota's 8th Round pick in the 2006 Draft. He arrived in New Britain in June of this year from Ft. Myers in the Single-A Florida State League. Since joining the Rock Cats, the 5'11"/198-pound Infielder appeared in 23 games and compiled a .247 Batting Average.

Both moves are effective immediately.
