
Rain ruins Loons date with Dragons

With a continued long line of thunderstorms approaching Midland throughout the evening, the Great Lakes Loons postponed Wednesday night's scheduled contest against the Dayton Dragons. The game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader Thursday night beginning at 6:05pm. Both games will last seven innings in length.
The tickets to Wednesday's rainout are redeemable for any Great Lakes Loons home game during the 2008 season, with all exchanges based on availability. Fans may redeem July 2 tickets for tickets of equal or lesser value at the Dow Diamond ticket office.
On Thursday, Bryan Morris and Thomas Melgarejo are scheduled to start games one and two for the Loons respectively, while the Dragons are expected to counter with starters Matt Klinker and Daniel Guerrero.
Thursday's game will feature a post-game fireworks display, powered by Dow Corning. For tickets, call 989-837-BALL or by visit Loons.com.
