
Silver Hawks and Lugnuts Postponed

South Bend Silver Hawks News Release
SOUTH BEND, IN - Wednesday night's game between the South Bend Silver Hawks and the Lansing Lugnuts was postponed due to rain and field conditions; however, the spectacular fireworks display, sponsored by 1st Source Bank and WNDU went on as scheduled. The Silver Hawks and Lugnuts will complete tonight's game as part of a doubleheader on Thursday, July 3. Play will resume at 6:00 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. The original nine-inning game will be completed, followed by a 30-minute break and a seven-inning game. Tickets for Wednesday night's game may be redeemed for any remaining regular season Silver Hawks home game (subject to availability). The Silver Hawks Fourth of July Celebration continues with fireworks on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Game time is slated for 6:00 p.m. on Thursday (doubleheader) and 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. For more information, contact the Silver Hawks office at 574-235-9988.
