Whitecaps-Wizards Game Postponed

COMSTOCK PARK, MI - Wednesday's scheduled game between the West Michigan Whitecaps and the Fort Wayne Wizards has been postponed due to rain and wet field conditions. The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Thursday with the first pitch for game one at 6:00 p.m.

Each game of the double header will be seven innings in length. LHP Jon Kibler is scheduled to start game one against Fort Wayne right-handed Jeremy Hefner. RHP Thad Weber will go in game two for the Whitecaps against LHP Matt Teague for the Wizards.

Tickets for Wednesday's game can be redeemed for any remaining 2008 Whitecaps home game. Tickets can be exchanged at the Whitecaps Ticket Office.

An appearance by The Famous Chicken that was scheduled for Wednesday will take place Thursday during the doubleheader.
