Raiders Acquire 18 year-old center Jordan Hickmott

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan - The Prince Albert Raiders have acquired 18 year-old right centre Jordan Hickmott from the Medicine Hat Tigers. In exchange the Tigers will receive the Raiders two selections in today's CHL European Draft, 15th and 75th, while the Raiders receive Medicine Hat's first round selection, 48th. Hickmott, 6'1", 183 lbs. was the Tigers' first round pick, 18th overall in the 2005 WHL Bantam Draft. Hickmott, from Mission, BC has played 85 games the past three seasons with the Tigers scoring 10 goals and adding five assists. "We are excited to add Jordan Hickmott," said General Manager and Head Coach Bruno Campese. "He is a quality character player who we believe has solid offensive potential. Assistant Coach Craig Bedard knows Jordan and we are pleased to acquire him." The 48th selection in the European Draft is scheduled for approximately 3:20 PM MST.
