Radek Faksa Reassigned to Texas from Dallas Stars

FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has reassigned center Radek Faksa to the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Faksa, 22, has appeared in 18 games for Dallas this season registering three points (1-2=3) and a +1 plus/minus rating. He scored his first career goal on Nov. 6 at Carolina against Eddie Lack. At the AHL level with Texas, he has posted 13 points (9-4=13) in 19 games played.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound native of Vitkov, Czech Republic was selected by Dallas in the first round (13th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.

The Texas Stars are the primary development affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars and currently in their seventh season at Cedar Park Center.
