Goals:
- Jeremy Morin shoots the puck on net with a crowd in front the puck bounces out to Marlies defenceman T.J Brennan who opens the scoring 1:01 into the second period.
- JC Lipon scores on a one-timer off a pass from Josh Morrissey while on the power play 18:10 into the second.
- Josh Leivo scores from the point through a crowd in front while on the powerplay 5:19 into the third period.
- Jeremy Morin finishes of the tic-tac-toe passing play on the powerplay where Moose goalie Eric Comrie had no chance at 7:58 of the third period.
- Toronto's Nikita Soshnikov scores on a wrist shot while streaking down the left side at 10:05 of the third period.
Highlights/Notes:
-JC Lipon scored the only goal for the Moose, his seventh of the season. He recorded a team high five shots on net and was awarded the game's third star. Lipon is now tied for second on the team in goals with seven.
- Eric Comrie made his 12th straight start in the Moose net. He faced a season high 45 shots in the game and matched a season high with 41 saves.
- T.J Brennan (1G, 1A), Jeremy Morin (1G, 1A), Nikita Soshnikov (1G, 1A) and Brett Findlay (0G, 2A) each had multi-point games for the Marlies.
- The Moose now trail the season series against the AHL's top team in the standings, the Toronto Marlies, with a 0-5-0-1 record. They will host Toronto two more times this season (Feb. 4 & 6).
Next Moose game is Monday, Jan. 11 at the MTS Centre when the Moose host the Lake Erie Monsters at 7 p.m.
