Quad City Firefighters to Play at i wireless Center

Moline, IL- The Quad City Flames today announced that the Quad City Fire Hockey Team, composed of more than 25 firefighters from local departments, will play at the i wireless Center on Friday, April 3rd at 3:00 p.m. The team will host the Chicago Fire Department in the contest prior to the Flames' 7:05 p.m. face-off with the Chicago Wolves.

Special packages that include tickets to the fire department game and the Flames game that night are available for just $20.00. These packages include a lower end zone seat, a hot dog and a box of popcorn. The same package is available with a youth ticket for $17.00. From each package sold, $7.00 will be donated to The Robert Juarez Relief Fund. Robert is a veteran of 20 years as a Davenport Firefighter. He was paralyzed in the line of duty after falling from a ladder. To purchase this ticket package, call Flames Ticket Director Jordan Kelsey at (309) 277-1318.

In addition to their pre-game showdown, the Quad City Firefighters will also participate in game activities. Prior to the Flames game, Robert Juarez will be on hand to drop the ceremonial opening puck. Members of the Quad City Fire will return to the ice during the first intermission to participate in a Tug-of-War against their Chicago counterparts.

The Flames are on home ice on Friday, March 27th vs. the Iowa Chops. It's Military Appreciation Night and the first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive foam pucks courtesy of the Illinois National Guard. Tickets are $10.00 in the lower bowl and $5.00 in the upper bowl. During the game, fans can purchase $2.00 12-ounce drafts and $1.50 hot dogs.
