Persson Re-Assigned to Pirates

Buffalo, NY - The Buffalo Sabres have re-assigned defenseman Dennis Persson to the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League. Persson was previously assigned to Timra IK of the Swedish Elite League.
Persson played in 46 games this season with Timra IK. The Sabres 2006 first round draft pick (24th overall) notched a goal and five assists. Persson is 20 years old.
