Pro Golfer Woody Austin to Throw First Pitch

BINGHAMTON, NY - Woody Austin, a participant in the upcoming PGA TOUR Champions DICK'S Sporting Goods Open, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies game at 6:35 on Wednesday, August 15. Austin finished third at last year's event and will make a bid for his fourth career PGA TOUR Champions victory next weekend at En-Joie Golf Course in Endicott. Fans will have an opportunity to take pictures with the Charles Schwab Cup which will be displayed throughout the game.

Austin joined the PGA TOUR Champions in 2014 following a 19-year run on the PGA TOUR, where he captured four wins. He was the PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year in 1995.
