Tri-City will look to break a two game losing streak and extend their lead in the playoff race over the Chiefs. Spokane comes into tonight's game on a seven game losing streak. They haven't found victory since defeating the Americans 5-4 on New Year's Day.
The two teams meet tonight for the eighth time in their 14-game season series. The Americans are 2-5-0-0 against Spokane so far this season.

Both of Jean Jr.'s career goals have been against the Chiefs. Tomas Suchanek's only game in net against Spokane was Tri-City's first victory against the Chiefs.
The Americans most recently played last night as they faced the Silvertips in Kennewick. It was a close-fought game but ultimately Everett pulled away with a pair of late third period goals to take a 3-0 shutout victory.
After a scoreless first period, Everett broke through early second period to take a 1-0 lead. The Americans stayed within one goal of the Silvertips until late in the final frame. With 4:15 remaining in the game, Everett extended their lead with a power play goal. They then added an empty net goal to secure the shutout victory.
