Kennewick, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips pulled away late in the game to take a 3-0 victory over the Americans tonight at the Toyota Center.

Silvertips goaltender Braden Holt stopped all 22 shots faced to earn his third shutout of the season.

After a scoreless first period, Jackson Berezowski swept in a loose puck past Americans netminder Tomas Suchanek. The Americans stayed within one goal of the Silvertips until late in the final frame.

Everett extended their lead to two with a power play goal from Jason Wright scored with 4:15 remaining in the game. Hunter Campbell added an empty net goal to secure the victory for Everett.

Suchanek had a great night in net, turning aside 36 of 38 shots faced.
