
PrairieThunder Win Second in a Row 4-3 Over Quad City on Friday Night

The Bloomington PrairieThunder rallied from a 3-2 deficit with two third period goals and defeated the Quad City Mallards 4-3 on Friday night in Moline, Illinois. The PThunder took a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals from the recently activated (from injured reserve) Brett Holmberg and Bill Bagron. And after the Mallards took a 3-2 lead heading into the third period, Holmberg scored his second of the game and John Snowden scored the game winner at 7:53. Bloomington goaltender Marco Emond stopped 21 of 24 shots for his seventh win of the season.
With the victory, Bloomington improves to 8-4-1 on the year while Quad City drops to 8-8-0. The PrairieThunder now heads to Dayton on Saturday night before returning home on Sunday afternoon (November 28th) against the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees at 3:05pm.

The U.S. Cellular Coliseum Box Office will be open with special Holiday hours this Saturday (11/27) from 10am to 2pm to facilitate ticket buyers for Sunday afternoon's game against Rio Grande Valley.
