POWER REPLAY: West Virginia's scheduled series finale against Greensboro was postponed on Tuesday due to inclement weather and will be made up when the Power travel to NewBridge Bank Park in June prior to the All-Star break. West Virginia won the first three games of the series, beating Greensboro 5-2, 3-0, and 3-2.

MASTERING THE GREENJACKETS: For the first time in history, West Virginia won a series at Augusta. The Power won the final three games during the series at Lake Olmstead Stadium from April 15 through 18 to take the set from the GreenJackets. Augusta still leads the all-time series 21-15, but the Power had never won more than twice (2007) on the road at the GreenJackets home park.

TRIP TO THE DL: Starting pitcher Tyler Waldron was placed on the disabled list over the weekend and the Pittsburgh Pirates promoted Zac Fuesser back to the active roster from State College. Waldron leads the team with three wins, having gone 3-1 over four starts with a 4.71 earned run average. Fuesser is 1-0 with a 1.69 ERA over five appearances for West Virginia, including five shutout innings in last Wednesday's win over Hagerstown.

TWO MUCH FUN: The Power are now 4-2 on doubleheader days this season. West Virginia swept a twinbill with Savannah on April 10, winning 9-1 and 2-0, and took both games yesterday. The Power also lost both games of a doubleheader on April 23 at Kannapolis in walk-off fashion, leading 7-6 going in the last half inning and falling 8-7 in both games.

OUT HIT BUT NOT OUTSCORED: Monday's game two victory was the first time this season that West Virginia won a game when being out hit. The Grasshoppers had five more base hits than the Power, including four straight in the top of the seventh. West Virginia is now 1-11 when being out hit by their opponent.

START ME UP: Jameson Taillon pitched four shutout innings Monday during the second appearance of his professional career. The 19 year-old right-hander only allowed two hits, did not walk a batter, and struck out six, including five over the first two innings of game one. Taillon was selected second overall by the Pirates during the 2010 draft.

SERIES STARTING STRUGGLES: West Virginia is 1-5 in series openers this season. The Power lost the opening game during each of their first five series before beating Greensboro 5-2 on Saturday to begin their abbreviated set.

POWER POINTS: Drew Maggi has one hit over his last 19 at bats... Mel Rojas Jr. had seven hits during the Greensboro series and raised his average from .240 to .294 during that three game stretch... The Power will open a four-game homestand against Kannapolis on May 13 at Appalachian Power Park. West Virginia will wear special charity jerseys to be auctioned off to raise money for Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society.

AROUND THE ORGANIZATION: Pittsburgh edged San Diego 7-4. Ryan Doumit hit a third inning grand slam to send the Pirates to their second win of the series... Indianapolis did not play... Altoona lost 6-3 to Akron... Bradenton plated five runs in then seventh to beat Palm Beach 5-1. Jeff Inman earned the win with a quality start.

ON THE AIR: All 140 West Virginia Power games can be heard on ESPN 104.5 FM and 1490 AM in Charleston, WV, across the state on the Power Radio Network, and online at milb.com. Adam Marco will call the action for each of the 70 home games this season, while the home team will provide coverage while the Power are on the road.
