
Ponich Returns to K-Wings

Kalamazoo, MI- Prepared to play the hottest team in the ECHL, the Orlando Solar Bears, the Kalamazoo Wings will have a few players return to their lineup.
Late this morning, defenseman Brett Ponich was reassigned to the K-Wings by the St. Louis Blues. Ponich spent the week in the AHL, where he played in no games for the Chicago Wolves.
Ponich isn't the only defenseman returning this afternoon. The K-Wings have activated Jeremie Blain from the 21-Day IR. Blain hasn't played a game since early December.
The K-Wings will return home on this afternoon, Sunday, February 23rd with a 3 p.m. face-off versus the Orlando Solar Bears on Kibbles and Sticks Night, where fans are welcomed to bring their dogs to the game. Tickets for dogs are $5, with the proceeds going to the Animal Rescue Project. Also any fan that purchases a ticket for their dog will also receive a K-Wings Dog Bandana.
Today is also a Family Hockey Day in the 'ZOO presented by Walgreen's, Bronson Orthopedic Sports Medicine, Consumers Credit Union and Charter Media. The first 500 kids to enter through the main doors (doors 1 and 10 of the lobby) of Wings Stadium will receive a FREE Lunchable, courtesy of Walgreens, and a K-Wings Sticker Pack. Following the game fans can participate in a post-game skate with the K-Wings (skate rental $3).
Individual tickets for all K-Wings home games are on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, including www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000 . Ticket office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays.
Ticket prices for home games are $13 and $17.50 for adults and only $7 for kids ages 12 and under. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice games) are just $1 more. Fans can save money by purchasing K-Wings single-game tickets in advance. Tickets purchased on the day of a game increase by $2 (adults only).
Fans that plan on attending multiple games can avoid service fees plus enjoy a discount from the single-game price by purchasing a 12, 24 or 36-game flexi-plan. These plans, along with Fan Packs and group ticket packages may be ordered through the K-Wings Sales office by calling (269) 743-6011 .
