
Rowe and Clark Lead Road Warriors to Big Win

Greenville, SC: Andrew Rowe scored a hat trick and Emerson Clark scored his first two professional goals in a 6-2 Road Warriors win on Sunday against the Reading Royals.
The game started slow with little offensive opportunities and only a handful of shots through the first ten minutes. With 3:26 left in the first period, Sean Wiles fired a shot from the circle past Jason Missiaen for his 14th of the season. The period ended with the Road Warriors down 1-0.
The Road Warriors started the second period with a goal 9:16 into the period. Rowe scored his 15th goal of the season with a power play score. Michael St. Croix and Josh Nicholls were awarded the assists on the wrist shot goal. Clark continued the scoring four minutes later with his first professional goal on a quick wrist shot. Mike Marcou and Missiaen earned the assists to give Greenville a 2-1 lead. With 5:26 left in the period, Kyle Jean scored on a rebound earning his fourth goal of the season. Rowe and Nicholls got the assists to give both a multi-point night. With four minutes left in the period, Reading cut the Road Warriors lead to 3-2 when Matt Campanale scored his fourth goal of the season off an assist from Marvin Degon.
Clark continued his scoring efforts six minutes into the third period. The rookie scored his second goal of the game on a breakaway after stealing the puck at center. The Road Warriors grabbed a 5-2 lead when Rowe scored his second goal of the game with assists from Brad Cole and Jean. 40 seconds later Rowe completed the hat trick with a backhand deflection on a pass from Sam Klassen. Rowe earned his second hat trick of the season. Missiaen held off all of Reading's ten shots in the third period and the Road Warriors defeated the Royals 6-2. Missiaen made 35 saves in the game.
The Road Warriors are back in action tomorrow night when they host the Cincinnati Cyclones at 7:00 p.m. Fans can purchase a Red Level ticket at the box office between now and game time and receive a second Red Level ticket for free!
