Pock joins Pack

New York, January 6, 2006 -- New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that defenseman Thomas Pock has been reassigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Pock, 24, has skated in 31 games with Hartford (AHL) this season, registering six goals and 17 assists, along with 48 penalty minutes. The 6-2, 205-pounder led the Wolf Pack in assists (17) and was tied for second on the team in scoring (23 points) at the time of his recall on January 2. After not dressing in each of the last two games for New York, Pock is set to rejoin Hartford tonight as the Wolf Pack will square off against the Portland Pirates at the Hartford Civic Center (7:00 PM).

From today's practice, all players on the Rangers active roster participated. New York will return to action tomorrow to faceoff against the Florida Panthers at Madison Square Garden. Game time is set for 1:00 PM.
