AHL Announces Suspension
January 6, 2006 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. . The American Hockey League today announced that Grand Rapids Griffins defenseman Derek Meech has been suspended for one (1) regular-season game as a result of his actions during an AHL game vs. the Hamilton Bulldogs on Jan. 4.
Meech will miss Grand Rapids' game Friday (Jan. 6) vs. Houston, and will be eligible to return on Jan. 7 vs. San Antonio.
