Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs continue to roll out details for this Sunday's Fortnite Day at Coca-Cola Park and it just keeps getting better for local gamers, who will have the opportunity to play alongside both professional gamers and IronPigs players. Get your tickets today !
The IronPigs take on the Buffalo Bisons that afternoon at 1:35 p.m. The game will feature a number of Fortnite-themed contests throughout, but the fun begins much earlier.
Gates will open at 9 a.m. and professional gamers Hectiic and FantasticalGamer, who has more than 1 million subscribers on YouTube, and select IronPigs players will be at Coca-Cola Park playing the popular game on the videoboard and on screens located on the club level. Guests will be able to watch games on the videoboard and enter a raffle for the chance to play alongside the Pigs and gaming professionals between 9 a.m. and noon. Each $1 donated is an entry and proceeds from the raffle will benefit IronPigs Charities.
The event kicks off with IronPigs fan Justin Fizer gaming on the Coca-Cola Park video board after getting more than 6,000 retweets on his request to play on the largest video board in all of Minor League Baseball.
Guests at the ballpark will be able to enter a raffle for 10,000 V-Bucks (in-game currency). Slurp Juice and Chug Jugs will be available at select concession areas and each item includes a collectible IronPigs mason jar. Fortnite-themed IronPigs merchandise will be available at the Majestic Clubhouse Store.
During the game, the IronPigs will have a number of Fortnite-themed contests including an emote-off and supply drops featuring the chance to win more V-Bucks.
Tickets start at just $8, and include access to the Fortnite event, as well as the Pigs' game vs. Buffalo. A game ticket is required to enter the ballpark for the pre-game Fortnite festivities.
