Springfield, MA - The Portland Pirates (16-11-1-0) defeated the Springfield Falcons (12-16-1-1) by a score of 5-1 at the MassMutual Center on Sunday night. The victory gave Portland their longest win streak of the 2015-2016 season. They used a three-goal second period to power their win to victory.

Just 39 seconds later, John McFarland brought the lead up to 3-0 when Rob Schremp and Chase Balisy set him up for his ninth goal of the season.
Harper would finish off period scoring with his third goal of the season at 16:49 with assists from Racine and Greg McKegg.
