Pillar Promoted to Dunedin

LANSING, Mich. - The Lansing Lugnuts, in conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, announced that outfielder Kevin Pillar has been promoted to the Dunedin Blue Jays (Advanced-A - Florida State League) from Lansing.

Pillar, 23, was drafted in the 32nd round of the 2011 draft out of Cal State Dominquez Hills. The outfielder was a Midwest League All-Star and lead the MWL in average (.322) and hits (108), was second in stolen bases (35) and fourth in RBI (57).

The Lugnuts' roster now consists of 23 active players, two beneath the maximum, as well as five players on the Disabled List and one on the Temporarily Inactive List.
