Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will look to bounce back against the Durham Bulls in game two of their four-game set on Tuesday night. First pitch from Durham Bulls Athletic Park is set for 7:05 p.m. The IronPigs can snap their four-game skid with a win.

RHP Phillippe Aumont (2-3, 2.35) gets the ball for the Pigs. Last time out, Aumont was dealt the loss in the nightcap of the doubleheader vs. Rochester on Wednesday after giving up three runs on eight hits while walking three and fanning five in six innings of work. Opponents are hitting just .107 (6-56) against the right-hander with runners in scoring position this season.

LHP Scott Diamond (5-2, 3.38) takes the mound for Durham on Tuesday night. Diamond got the win vs. Charlotte on Thursday after allowing one run on four hits to go along with a walk and a strikeout in 5.1 IP. The southpaw will be making his second start of the year against the IronPigs. Back on April 28 at Coca-Cola Park, Diamond surrendered a run on six hits while striking out four in seven innings of work.

Pigs C Gabriel Lino has now hit safely in each of the first five games of his Triple-A career. The Maracay, Venezuela native is hitting .263-0-1 with a pair of doubles and two runs scored since being promoted from Reading (AA).
