Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will renew the IronRail series when they begin a three-game set with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders on Monday night. First pitch from Coca-Cola Park is slated for 7:05 p.m. The IronPigs enter play at 30-48 after dropping two of three to Louisville over the weekend while the RailRiders sit at 43-34 after falling in a pair of games against Buffalo this weekend.
RHP Aaron Nola (2-0, 2.13) gets the ball for the Pigs in the series opener. Nola got the win at Buffalo on Wednesday after he gave up three runs on six hits to go along with a walk and seven strikeouts in 7.2 IP. Thus far in his two Triple-A starts, the LSU product has fanned 14 batters over 12.2 IP while walking just two in that span.

DePaula's last start for the RailRiders came back on June 12 vs. Rochester when he allowed two runs on seven hits while walking one and fanning a pair over 5.2 IP and got the win. Over the southpaw's career, he has allowed just 21 home runs over 470.0 IP which is an average of 0.40 HR/9.0 IP.
