July 4, 2015 - International League (IL1)
Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs (34-49) will look to bounce back from a heartbreaking 6-5 loss in 16 innings to Rochester on Friday night when they begin a three-game set with the Red Wings (44-37) on Saturday night at Frontier Field. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.

RHP Aaron Nola (3-0, 1.53) gets the ball for the Pigs on Saturday. The LSU product got the win on Monday vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre when he allowed five hits, walked three and fanned four over five shutout innings. In his 3 GS thus far with Lehigh Valley, Nola has fanned 18 batters over 17.2 IP.

RHP Tyler Duffey (3-4, 2.82) will be on the bump for manager Mike Quade's squad. Duffey tossed seven shutout innings and allowed just four hits on Sunday vs. Charlotte when he got the win. In fact, over his last 3 GS, the right-hander has not allowed an earned run and has struck out 18 in 22.1 IP in that span. Opponents are hitting .205 (9-44) with runners in scoring position against Duffey.

After going 4-8 with a franchise-record tying three doubles on Friday night, IronPigs INF/OF Tyler Henson has now hit safely in eight of his last nine games. In that time, Henson is hitting .400 (16-40)-1-8 with four doubles, a triple, nine runs scored and six stolen bases.
