Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
(Trenton, NJ) - David Paulino made his first start since 2019 and pitched four shutout innings against the Buffalo Bisons (34-24) on Tuesday night. It would not be enough as the Bisons defeated the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (26-34) 2-1.
Paulino was given a 1-0 lead in the top of the second inning when Mickey Moniak scored on an RBI groundout by Darick Hall. After four innings on the mound, Paulino gave up just four hits and recorded two strikeouts. The right-hander was followed by Mike Adams, who pitched two shutout innings - recording two strikeouts and issuing one walk.
