Peralta pops off DL, Patrick heads to infirmary

LANSING - The Toronto Blue Jays have announced today a pair of roster moves for the Lansing Lugnuts, effective for tonight's game against Dayton.

Infielder Juan Peralta, sidelined on the disabled list since June 3rd with a right hand injury, has been activated for tonight's game. Peralta has appeared in 48 games for the Lugnuts in 2005 and was hitting .291 with a homer and 29 runs batted in prior to his injury that has sidelined him for 65 games. He was a 2005 All-Star selection but did not play in the game due to the injury.

Patrick heads to the DL with an undisclosed injury. In 14 games with the Lugnuts, he was hitting .188 with seven runs driven in while playing the infield and outfield. The injury is retroactive to August 16th.

With the moves the active roster stands at 25 players, the Midwest League allowed limit.
