JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Miami Marlins announced a transaction that impacts their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp roster prior to tonight's game against the Mississippi Braves at Trustmark Park at 8:00 p.m. eastern.

Right-handed relief pitcher Jose Pena has been transferred from Jacksonville to Triple-A New Orleans. Pena pitched in 23 games for Jacksonville in relief, going 1-2 with a 3.45 ERA with 33 strikeouts in his 28 and two-third innings of work.

The Jumbo Shrimp roster stands at 24 active players, and a revised roster is attached.

The Jumbo Shrimp and Braves will conclude their series with the sixth and final game of the six-game series on Tuesday night at Trustmark Park at 8 p.m. eastern. Jacksonville right-hander Robert Dugger (1-2, 5.33 ERA) will start for the Jumbo Shrimp against Mississippi right-hander Kyle Wright (4-7, 4.11 ERA). Fans can listen to Thursday's game on the Jumbo Shrimp Network presented by Community First, beginning at 7:45 p.m. eastern with the pregame show "Shrimp On Deck" locally on Sunny 102.3 FM, on the TuneIn Radio app, and www.jaxshrimp.com.

The Jumbo Shrimp return home Thursday, June 28, to begin a six-game series with the Montgomery Biscuits on Budweiser Thirsty Thursday, with $1 12-oz. and $2 24-oz. beers at select locations, plus $1 sodas at the main concession stands. The game is Teacher Appreciation Night.
