JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The 2018 Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp season presented by Community First Credit Union continues with a homestand Thursday, June 28, through Tuesday, July 3. The Jumbo Shrimp host the Montgomery Biscuits, Double-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, for a six-game series with a promotional lineup including the following highlights:

Thursday, June 28, 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 6 p.m.)

Budweiser Thirsty Thursday: Fans can purchase $1 12-oz. and $2 24-oz. beers adjacent to the Budweiser Tiki Terrace, along the right-field concourse, and at the Oasis concession stand behind section 115. $1 small sodas are sold at the concession stands. DJ Swagg and DJ MoneyGud will provide music at the Budweiser Tiki Terrace.

Teacher Appreciation Night: Teachers can show ID at the box office to save $1 off a game day ticket.

Friday, June 29, 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 6 p.m.)

NAPA AutoCare Family Fireworks: Fans may visit any participating NAPA AutoCare Center to get a FREE general admission ticket (reserved seat upgrade available at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville box office) for the Friday night game. Following the game, the Jumbo Shrimp have NAPA AutoCare Family Fireworks!

Red Shirt Friday: Fans are encouraged to wear red to support the military and save $1 per ticket at the box office, or donate the $1 to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The Jumbo Shrimp wear red "Bold City" jerseys every Friday.

Friday Night Lites Miller Lite Happy Hour: Miller Lite $1 12-oz. beers and $1 off craft beer specials are available in the Craft Cave near the third-base gate from gates opening until 7:30 p.m. every Friday.

Saturday, June 30, 6:35 p.m. (Gates open at 5:30 p.m.)

Jacksonville Red Caps Negro League Night: The Jumbo Shrimp will wear throwback uniforms of the Jacksonville Red Caps, the local Negro American League team in 1938 and 1941-42. Former Negro League players Harold Buster Hair, a Jacksonville native, and Clifford Layton will be recognized before the game and greet fans on the concourse. Fans can view Negro League memorabilia on the concourse and learn more local and national Negro League baseball history on the video board throughout the evening.

Prawn Prize: Red Caps Hat, presented by Florida Blue: The first 2,000 fans receive a replica Negro League Jacksonville Red Caps hat, courtesy of Florida Blue. Caps matching those worn by the team will be for sale in the Jumbo Shrimp souvenir store.

Sunday, July 1, 3:05 p.m. (Gates open at 2 p.m.)

Baptist Health Sunday Family FUNday presented by Baptist Free-Standing ER: Kids can feel like the pros before each Sunday home game, as families can play catch on the field, beginning at 2 p.m. A Jumbo Shrimp player autograph booth will be open before the game. Free face painting and balloon animals will be available in the Wolfson Children's Hospital Kids Zone. Following the game, kids 12 and under can run the bases.

Halloween in July with Pregame Helicopter Candy Drop: Come in your favorite costume for a day of tricks and treats. Before the game, a helicopter will drop candy in the outfield. Costumed characters from Warehouse 31 and the Minions will be in the ballpark.

Navy Mutual Military Appreciation Day: Veterans, active, retired and former military and their dependents receive free general admission or reserved tickets. All attendees with the military member must be present, and the member show an active military or veteran ID, at the box office to receive free tickets. The Jumbo Shrimp will wear camo jerseys.

VyStar Credit Union Charity Begins at Home: The Jumbo Shrimp feature a local nonprofit at each Monday home game. River City Pride will raise awareness and funds through ticket sales and the Launch-A-Ball promotion. VyStar Credit Union members can get a buy-3-get-1 free ticket special by showing their VyStar credit or debit card at the box office.

Half-Price Yuengling Monday: Every Monday night, 16-oz. Yuengling cans are half-price.

Tuesday, July 3, 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 6 p.m.)

Independence Day Eve Celebration presented by Nimnicht Family of Dealerships: Begin your celebration of our nation's birthday with one of the largest holiday fireworks shows in Jacksonville!

Nimnicht Family of Dealerships Patriotic Jumbo Shrimp Cap Giveaway: The first 2,000 fans receive a free patriotic Jumbo Shrimp cap, courtesy of the Nimnicht Family of Dealerships.

Stahl-Meyer All-American Eating Contest: In the tradition of Fourth of July feasting competition, contestants will race to eat four hot dogs, a turkey leg, pastrami sandwich, and apple pie. The winner receives a Stahl-Meyer Grill pack with hot dogs, a grill, grill accessories and two Jumbo Shrimp 2019 season tickets. Contest details here.

Independence Day Picnic: Purchase a reserved seat and the 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. all-you-can-eat buffet (hamburgers, hot dogs, cole slaw, beans, cookies, tea, lemonade and water) in the VyStar Shrimp Net at tinyurl.com/jaxshrimpportal (password "America").
