The long-awaited Pawtucket Hot Wieners Night is finally upon us as the Pawtucket Red Sox will transform into the Pawtucket Hot Wieners TONIGHT, Thursday, August 16 to take on the Durham Bulls at 7:05pm.
Everything You Need To Know
The PawSox Become The Pawtucket Hot Wieners - In changing the team name to Pawtucket Hot Wieners for the night, the team will be sporting authentic Pawtucket Hot Wieners jerseys and on-field caps. These items are also available for purchase in the PawSox Baseball Store.
Eating Authentic Hot Wieners - Yes! There will be authentic hot wieners available for purchase and consumption on Mondor Way. In addition, the first 50 fans to enter the stadium wearing their Pawtucket Hot Wieners gear will be eligible to participate in an in-between inning hot wiener eating contest!
Dachshunds Welcome! - In the spirit of "The Year of the Dog," the PawSox are honoring the adorable dachshund breed that is incorporated into the Pawtucket Hot Wieners logo with a dachshund pregame parade on the field. If you have a Dachshund, bring them to the game! When fans buy a general admission ticket, their dachshund will be allowed into the stadium free of charge. Bring your pup over to Gate A by 6:30 pm to participate in the dachshund parade!
