Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

In a battle of division leaders, the North-leading IronPigs (73-49) play the opener of a four-game, home series against the West-leading Indianapolis Indians (66-56) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 2-0 loss to Durham in the rubber match of a three-game series last night, the Pigs have dropped back-to-back games as well as six of their last nine games. However, over a longer stretch, Lehigh Valley has won 25 of its last 38 contests and owns a 44-24 record since June 3 -- going from 0.5 games back to 9.0 games ahead... The Indians -- Pittsburgh's top affiliate -- split a doubleheader in Scranton/WB last night (W, 7-3; L, 3-1), but still lost the three-game series. The Indians have dumped five of their last six games after sweeping the Pigs at Victory Field from Aug. 7-9. Still, Indianapolis own a 41-29 record after falling to a season-low water mark at 25-27 on June 1.

RHP Harold Arauz (0-0, 12.27) will start for LHV against LHP Brandon Waddell (4-7, 4.72).

First-Pitch tonight is at 7:05 p.m.
