May 1, 2019 - International League (IL1)
Pawtucket Red Sox News Release

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Pawtucket Red Sox and Buffalo Bisons were postponed due to rain Wednesday night at Sahlen Field and will now play a doubleheader Thursday beginning at 12:05 p.m.

The PawSox, who have now endured eight postponements already this season, will play seven-inning games for all five games of the current series against the Bisons. The teams were set for a doubleheader Monday - only for the nightcap to be postponed. Buffalo swept Tuesday's doubleheader, and now the PawSox will aim to bounce back with Thursday's twin-bill - the team's fifth of the season.

Radio coverage on WHJJ (920 AM and 104.7 FM) and throughout the PawSox Radio Network begins Thursday with the pre-game show at 12:00 p.m.

Following the seven-game road trip, the PawSox return home Friday-Sunday (May 3-5) to host the Rochester Red Wings at McCoy Stadium. On Friday, the PawSox will present their 40th Armed Forces Night and also host the four recent Red Sox World Series trophies at the ballpark for fans to enjoy. Good tickets are available, and fans can visit the McCoy Stadium box office, which is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. through 5 p.m., and during all home games. Fans can also call (401) 724-7300 or log on to PawSox.com for tickets.
