Pasquale Stands Tall as IceCaps Top Americans

ROCHESTER, NY - The IceCaps held on to top the Americans 5-3 at the Blue Cross Arena on Friday night.

A game that closely resembled Wednesday night's loss had a happier ending as Eddie Pasquale slammed the door shut on Rochester, making 43 saves.

Brandon McNally scored twice in a first-star performance, and Mark MacMillan picked up a pair of assists in the win. Charles Hudon potted the IceCaps' first goal of the night (his fifth in three games), while Morgan Ellis and Max Friberg picked up the other two markers.

The IceCaps take on the Toronto Marlies tomorrow afternoon (3:00 PM) at the Air Canada Centre.
