
P-Bruins release regular season roster

Providence Bruins News Release
The Providence Bruins announced today their roster to start the 2003-04 regular season. Currently on the roster are 11 players returning from last season, with an additional player on injury rehabilitation from the Boston Bruins. The Bruins also announced today that rookie center Sergei Zinovjev has been assigned to the team from Boston.
Returning players from last season include defensemen Rich Brennan, Kevin Dallman, Shaone Morrisonn, Peter Metcalf and Zdenek Kutlak. Returning forwards include 2002-03 AHL First-Team All-Star Matt Herr, 20-goal scorer Pat Leahy, Carl Corazzini, Kris Vernarsky, Mike Gellard and Darren VanOene. Andy Hilbert is also on the current roster while rehabilitating his injured groin.
New players include Ed Campbell, a veteran of 329 AHL games, on defense. On the forward lines are veterans Doug Doull and Brendan Walsh, as well as rookies Zinovjev, Colton Orr and Robert Liscak. Rookie goaltender Hannu Toivonen, Boston's first pick in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, is also on the roster.

The Bruins open up the 2003-04 regular season, their 12th in the AHL, on Friday, October 10, when they host the Springfield Falcons at 7:05 p.m. Information on individual game tickets, and all season ticket packages for the upcoming 2003-04 Providence Bruins regular season, can be obtained by calling the P-Bruins ticket office at (401) 273-5000 or by logging on to the team website at www.providencebruins.com.
