Defenseman David Koci Suspended for Tomorrow Night's Season Opener Versus Norfolk

WILKES-BARRE, PA. - The American Hockey League announced today that Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins defenseman David Koci has been suspended for one (1) regular season game as a result of receiving a match penalty in an October 4, 2003 AHL preseason game in Hershey.

Koci will miss the Penguins' game tomorrow night against the Norfolk Admirals at 7:05 p.m. at Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza.

Plenty of good seats are still available for the Penguins' first two home games of the 2003-04 season. Approximately 300 tickets are still available for the season opener and about 450 tickets are left for Saturday's game against the Admirals (7:05 p.m. start). Individual game tickets for the Penguins' 2003-04 season are now on sale and can be purchased at the Wachovia Arena Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations and telephone outlets.
