
P-Bruins Fall In Overtime To Wolf Pack 3-2

Hartford, CT - The Providence Bruins fell in overtime to the Hartford Wolf Pack 3-2 Saturday evening at the XL Center. The P-Bruins got their goals from Mikko Lehtonen and Guillaume Lefebvre. The P-Bruins return home to the Dunkin' Donuts Center Sunday at 4:05 p.m. for Thundersticks Night against the Albany River Rats.
The Wolf Pack took a 1-0 advantage at the 7:18 mark of the opening period. Evgeny Grachev tallied his tenth goal of the season, while Ryan Garlock picked up the lone assist. Hartford led 1-0 going into the first intermission.
Providence tied the game at one at the 3:37 mark of the second period. Drew Larman had the puck in the zone and sent it to Andrew Bodnarchuk at the blue line. He put a shot on net and Lehtonen as he was falling to the ice poked the rebound into the net for his 12th goal of the season. Hartford retook the lead at the 15:20 mark. P.A. Parenteau netted his 13th goal of the season, while Dale Weise recorded the lone assist. The Wolf Pack led going into the second intermission leading 2-1.
The P-Bruins tied the game at two at the 16:01 mark of the third period. Lefebvre picked up a free puck towards the side of the net and scored his fifth goal of the season. The goal was unassisted and the game went into overtime tied at two.
The Wolf Pack retook the lead at the 3:19 mark of overtime. Grachev tallied his second goal of the game and 11th of the season, while David Urquhart and Jordan Owens grabbed the assists. Hartford went on to the 3-2 overtime victory.
Dany Sabourin stopped 36 of 39 shots for the P-Bruins, while Matt Zaba made 36 saves for the Wolf Pack. The P-Bruins were 0-for-1 on the power play and 3-for-3 on the penalty kill.
