Zdenek Blatny and Redenbach had a 2-on-1 as Blatny made a pass from the left face off circle to Redenbach at the right face off circle. Redenbach scored upper right corner to send the P-Bruins into the first intermission leading 2-0. Michael Schutte had the second assist.

The P-Bruins added a power play goal at the 9:24 mark of the second period as Walter scored by picking up a loose puck in between the circles and putting it past Cloutier. Nathan Robinson and Pascal Pelletier set up the play as the P-Bruins headed into the final period leading 3-0.

In the third period the Sound Tigers got on the board with a power play goal of their own. At the 10:58 mark Bruno Gervais scored from just inside the blueline with Wyatt Smith and Jeff Hamilton picking up the assists. The P-Bruins added an empty net goal from Sean Curry at the 19:06 mark to go on to win 4-1
