LOOKING AHEAD: Toronto crosses conferences and pays a three-game weekend visit to Manchester on Friday (7:35 ET), Portland on Saturday (7:05 ET) and Lowell on Sunday (4:05 ET)... The Marlies are 3-2-2-0 over the first seven games of their 10-game swing away from Ricoh Coliseum, and have opened up a five-point lead over fifth-place Rochester in the North Division... Rookie Colin Murphy has scored a goal in three straight for Toronto, including the decisive tally in Sunday's 2-1 win over Hamilton... J.F. Racine has won seven of his last nine decisions... John Pohl, Toronto's representative at next week's 2006 Rbk Hockey AHL All-Star Classic, has registered 10 points in the last five contests (4g, 6a).

While the MTS Centre gets gussied up for the All-Star festivities, the Manitoba Moose are continuing a four-game road trip with a stop at the Wachovia Spectrum on Friday (7:05 ET, Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia)... The Moose are riding a five-game winning streak, including two victories over the Phantoms a fortnight ago... Philly defenseman Alexandre Picard, who has five assists in his last five AHL games, made his NHL debut for the parent Flyers on Monday night... Manitoba's Craig Darby won a Calder Cup with the Phantoms in 1998... The Moose are second in the AHL in defense, allowing 2.41 goals per game; Philadelphia is 26th in offense, scoring 2.18 goals per game... Manitoba concludes their weekend in Syracuse on Saturday (7:30 ET) and Hamilton on Sunday (4:00 ET).

Always tough at home, Providence entertains Bridgeport on Friday night (7:05 ET)... The Bruins have won nine in a row at the Dunkin' Donuts Center and 15 of their last 21 overall... Eric Healey ended a six-game drought with a pair of goals in Sunday's 8-2 win over Springfield... Pascal Pelletier has recorded 16 points in 19 games since joining Providence in mid-December... The Sound Tigers have won four in a row on the road, including two straight at league-leading Wilkes-Barre/Scranton... Jeff Hamilton, reassigned to Bridgeport from the parent N.Y. Islanders on Thursday, has picked up a point in 12 straight AHL outings (10g, 12a)... Robert Nilsson has 18 points in 18 games with the Sound Tigers, including a lacrosse-style highlight-reel goal against the Penguins on Wednesday night.
