Wolves Send Hurme to Columbia

The Chicago Wolves have assigned goaltender JANI HURME (YAN-ee HOOR-meh) to the Columbia Inferno of the ECHL.

HURME has notched a 2-4-0 record with a 3.64 goals-against average and a .854 save percentage in six appearances with the Wolves this year after missing the previous two seasons due to injury.

The 30-year-old netminder has posted a 29-25-11 mark with a 2.61 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage in 76 National Hockey League appearances with the Ottawa Senators (1999-2002) and Florida Panthers (2002-03).
