(AVON, OHIO) - The Evansville Otters (40-26) complete a six game roadtrip with the final game of a weekend series at the Lake Erie Crushers (38-30) on Monday night.
First pitch is set for 7:05 pm EDT at All Pro Freight Stadium in Avon, Ohio.
Fans not going to the game can listen live on WUEV 91.5 FM and WUEV.org . Play by play announcer Mike Radomski will have the call beginning at 6:45 pm EDT, 5:45 pm CDT.
It is Marked Down Monday at the ballpark.
RHP Preston Olson (5-3, 2.40 ERA) will pitch for Evansville against Lake Erie righty Zach Gordon (2-2, 2.50).
Olson has nine quality starts in 12 appearances this season. He has the second lowest ERA in the league and second most complete games (two).
Evansville has lost the first two games of this series, dropping a 7-5 game on Saturday and a 7-6, 14 inning game on Sunday.
The Otters are 13-25 all-time against the Lake Erie Crushers. Evansville is 4-4 against Lake Erie this season, winning two of three at each ballpark prior to this series. This is the ninth of nine meetings between the two teams this season.
The Otters had three players in the Frontier League All-Star game on July 16. 3B Shayne Houck started the contest going 2-for-2. Nik Balog pinch hit and played first base, going 0-for-1 with a walk. Josh Allen finished the night 0-for-2 as a defensive replacement and second baseman.
Infielder Phillip Wilson is on a 13 game hitting streak, the longest team hit streak this season. Outfielder Chris Elder has hit safely in seven straight games.
Evansville is looking to avoid their first home or road sweep of the season.
The Otters are a Frontier League best 19-13 on the road this season.
