
Otters and Miners Rained out Tonight; Doubleheader Tomorrow

(EVANSVILLE, INDIANA) - The Evansville Otters and Southern Illinois Miners baseball game was postponed by rain on Thursday night at Historic Bosse Field.
The teams will now play a doubleheader on Friday evening beginning at 5:35 p.m. CDT. Both games are scheduled for seven innings each.
Tomorrow is St. Mary's night at the ballpark. The first 500 children in attendance will receive a bike helmet courtesy of St. Mary's.
Left-hander Matt Zielinski (4-5,4.63 Earned Run Average) will start for the Otters in game one as he will be opposed by fellow lefty Brian Fowler (5-4, 2.91 ERA).
The second game will feature a matchup of Evansville right-hander Bryce Morrow (5-5,4.37 ERA) against left-hander David Calhoun (3-2, 3.51 ERA).
