(Joliet, IL) - He's been featured on the MLB Network and now he has his very own bobblehead.
J.L. Bird Bobblehead night is Saturday, July 28 as the Joliet Slammers return home for three games with their rival from Crestwood: the Windy City ThunderBolts. The first 1000 fans through the gates will receive a bobblehead of the most mischievous mascot in the Frontier League. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. and after the game all kids get to run the bases.
The great giveaways continue the very next day as the first 1000 fans through the gates on Sunday, July 29 will receive a team card set! First pitch is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. and after the game the players will stay late to sign the cards. Also, as usual, all kids get to run the bases! It's also a "Sweet Suite" Night so fans can purchase a 22-person luxury suite including food for only $450.
Monday, July 30 is another exciting Memorable Monday presented by Me-TV . First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. Take a trip down memory lane as the Slammers play your favorite classic TV show clips throughout the game. After the game all kids get to run the bases! All students can show their student I.D. at the Box Office and purchase a reserved seat for only $5. It's also a "Sweet Suite" Night so fans can purchase a 22-person luxury suite including food for only $450.
