Las Vegas Wranglers News Release
Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that left wing Charles Linglet has been recalled to the Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League and defenseman Tim Hambly was signed by the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the AHL.
Linglet played in 12 games for Las Vegas, scoring three goals and adding eight assists for 11 points. Linglet was a +5 with 15 penalty minutes with the Wranglers. Las Vegas posted an 11-0-1 record with Linglet in the lineup. The third-year forward rejoins the Peoria Rivermen where he played the first ten games of the season with five goals and four assists for nine points. Linglet is expected to play for Peoria in Chicago on Friday night.
Hambly will head to the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights to help fill a void left by injuries to defensemen Adam Pardy and Brett Palan. This is the second time Hambly has signed with an AHL team after playing two games with the Iowa Stars last week. The White Bear Lake, MN native leaves as the Wranglers plus/minus leader at +18. The rookie's plus/minus rating is tied for second in the ECHL among all defensemen and third among all rookies. Hambly's 17 points (7G-10A) lead all Las Vegas defensemen in scoring and places him in the top 15 for all blueliners in the ECHL. Hambly is expected to play in Omaha against Milwaukee on Friday. Saturday night, the Knights visit Hambly's former AHL team, the Iowa Stars.
Las Vegas will host the Utah Grizzlies this Friday at 7:05 pm. The first 2,500 fans will receive a Duke Windup Toy, compliments of Cox Communications.
Tickets for all games are on sale now. Fans may purchase seats to all Wranglers home games at any of the following ticket locations: The Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast, South Coast and Suncoast, or at the Galleria Mall guest relations/ticket centers.
