
Olkinuora Returns to Reign

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, four-time ECHL Pacific Division Champions and proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's 2014 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, have announced that goaltender Jussi Olkinuora has been reassigned to the club from the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League by the Jets.
Olkinuora, 24, has already appeared in 27 games with Ontario this season, posting a 16-7-4 record along with a 2.53 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage. In four games with St. John's, the native of Helsinki, Finland has a 2-1-0 record with a 4.20 goals-against average and a .856 save percentage.
In 68 career pro games split between the Reign and IceCaps, the 6-foot-2, 200-pound stopper has a 36-23-6 record with a 2.89 goals-against average and a .899 save percentage. He was originally signed by the Jets to an entry-level contract on Apr. 6, 2013.
