EVANSVILLE, Ind.- Here's what's happening with the Evansville IceMen, presented by Coors Light.

This Week's Games (Wednesday vs. Kalamazoo 7:15 p.m., Friday vs. Indy 7:15 p.m., Sunday Vs. Wheeling 7:15 p.m.)

The Evansville IceMen, presented by Coors Light, keep their five-game home stand going by hosting the Kalamazoo Wings on Wednesday. The Puck drops at 7:15 p.m.

Wednesday's game brings another Wet Your Whistle Wednesday at Back Stage Bar & Grill. Fans can take their IceMen tickets across the street to Back Stage for $1 Coors Light draughts and free cover.

It will also be Donation Night on Wednesday. Fans can purchase tickets to the game against Kalamazoo in the name of one of four participating charities: The Children's Advocacy Center, EYHA, Vanderburgh County Humane Society, and Youth Resources. A portion of each ticket bought in the name of charity will be given back to that non-profit organization. The charity with the highest number of tickets purchased in their name will also receive a $500 donation from the IceMen. So help support your favorite charity by getting tickets for Donation Night at 812-421-Goal.

On Friday, the Indy Fuel pay your IceMen another visit. It will be 80's night at the Ford Center presented by Boogie Nights. There will be an 80s costume contest where the winner will receive a VIP Package for up to 20 people at Boogie Nights. Friday's game also brings Concussion Awareness Night to the Ford Center with fans in the front row receiving a special prize.

The IceMen will wrap up this three-game week by hosting the Wheeling Nailers. Sunday's contest brings the first meeting between the IceMen and Nailers since the first week of November, a 6-3 IceMen win.

Sunday's game will also be another Subway Sunday where $19 gets fans a ticket, a t-shirt, a popcorn voucher, and a soda voucher. Book your Subway Sunday plan by calling 812-421-GOAL.

The first 5,000 fans through the doors on Sunday will receive free Subway Thunder Sticks. Another Chance for Animals will also be at Sunday's game with some adoptable pets as part of the IceMen's Paws & Pucks program.

Chris Driedger was returned to the Evansville IceMen from the Ottawa Senators of the NHL. Driedger was the first player called up from the IceMen to the NHL. Evansville released goaltender Brent Troyan to make room for Driedger.

IceMen in the Community

IceMen Live at Beef O' Brady's Monday from 6-8 p.m.

Stop by Beef O' Brady's in Newburgh for another edition of IceMen Live from 6-8 p.m Monday Night. IceMen newcomers Braden Pimm, and Justin MacDonald will be there to meet fans for the first time with the longest tenured IceMen player, Donnie Harris. Plus Harris, MacDonald and Pimm will answer questions from the fans.

IceMen Visit North Middle School for No "R" Week Tuesday beginning at 1:30 p.m.

IceMen players will stop by North Middle School to promote Mental Disability and Mental Health Awareness to the students in Henderson.

Coors Light Cold Hard Facts .

-The IceMen are 9-2-1 when leading after two periods and 7-3 when leading after one

-Braden Pimm is on a six -game point streak dating back to his time with the South Carolina Stingrays. Pimm has six goals and five assists over this streak.

-Justin MacDonald has three goals in two games with the IceMen.

League Leaders and Milestone Watch

-The IceMen rank ninth in the ECHL in attendance with a 5,125 fan average.

-Chris Driedger stands 5th in the ECHL in saves with 1,003. The rookie from Winnipeg ranks fifth in minutes with 2,033.

-Troy Rutkowski is 5th among ECHL Defensemen in shots with 129.

Milestones

-Chris Driedger is three games played away from third place on the IceMen's all-time rankings. He is one win away from the top five.

-Peter Sakaris is two games played away from 10th place in franchise history.

Wednesday Feb 25 at Fort Wayne L 4-3

The IceMen, held a 3-1 lead over the Fort Wayne Komets after two periods. However, a trio of third period goals helped the first place Komets past the IceMen to a 4-3 win. Branden Komm made a season high 47 saves for the IceMen in the loss.

Saturday Feb. 28 vs. Cincinnati

A crowd of 7,616 fans welcomed the Evansville IceMen back to the Ford Center after three weeks on the road. But the Cincinnati Cyclones weren't as welcoming as the crowd. They scored three first period goals to send the IceMen to a 4-2 loss.

Justin MacDonald netted a pair of tallies in his first game at the Ford Center and the IceMen outshot Cincinnati 39-29, but fell to the Cyclones.
