
Americans Set to Visit Quad City and Rapid City on 12 Day Road Trip

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans picked up two road wins this week to extend their road winning streak to five straight games, while dropping a home game on Saturday night to Brampton in overtime.

Overall record: 37-10-4-3, 81 points- Top team in the ECHL.

Wednesday, February 25th @. Quad City - 4-2 Win
Moline, Illinois - The Allen Americans made a quick one game trip to the Quad Cities, picking up their 4th straight road win. Chad Costello scored twice, while Tyler Barr netted his second goal of the season in a 4-2 win at I Wireless Center. The Americans scored four unanswered goals.
Saturday, February 28th vs. Brampton - 6-5 OT Loss
Allen, Texas - In a back and forth affair, the Allen Americans dropped their sixth straight home game, losing a heartbreaker in overtime 6-5 to the Brampton Beast. Trailing 5-4 late in the third period, Kevin Young fired one home with nine second left in regulation to send the game to overtime. Chad Painchaud ended the contest, 2:56 into the extra session, with his third goal of the night giving Brampton a 6-5 win in Allen.
Sunday, March 1st @ Wichita - 6-4 Win
Wichita, Kansas - The Americans jumped out to a 3-0 lead and held on in the end for a 6-4 win at INTRUST Bank Arena. The ECHL's leading goal scorer, Gary Steffes, scored his 36th and 37th goals of the season. Six different players had two points or more for Allen.
