
South Carolina's DeBlois Is AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Month

PRINCETON, N.J. - South Carolina Stingrays' forward Derek DeBlois is the AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Month for February after leading the league with a plus-minus rating of +19 during the month.
DeBlois was even or better in all 13 games during February, and was a +3 in three games - a 7-1 win at Greenville on Feb. 7, a 6-3 victory againt Gwinnett on Feb. 8 and a 5-0 win at Gwinnett on Feb. 14.
The 23-year-old is tied for ninth among ECHL rookies with 37 points (15g-22a) in 51 games this season. He tallied 21 points (10g-11a) in February helping South Carolina go 13-0-0 during the month.
A native of Narragansett, R.I., DeBlois played four seasons at the University of Michigan where he recorded 61 points (24g-37a) in 141 career games.
In recognition of his accomplishment, AMI Graphics will present Derek DeBlois with a personalized Plus Performer of the Month Banner during an on-ice ceremony at an upcoming Stingrays' home game.
