Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers return home to open a four-game series against the Nashville Sounds at 7:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on a $2 Thursday. The Dodgers, who last played Monday night in Colorado Springs, have lost three straight games and have lost six of their last eight games following a 22-6 start. OKC is a league-leading 17-3 at home this season.

Last Game: Wednesday was a scheduled league-wide off day and Tuesday night's game in Colorado Springs was postponed due to rain. In the Dodgers' last game on Monday, Colorado Springs jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead and withstood two rallies by OKC to win, 8-5, at Security Service Field. After a wild pitch plated the first run, Keon Broxton hit a two-run double with two outs to score two more in the first inning. Nate Orf added a solo home run in the second inning, pushing Colorado Springs' lead to 4-0. In the sixth, OKC's Kyle Garlick hit a two-run homer to close the gap to 4-2. The Dodgers pulled within one in the seventh inning after three straight singles. Colorado Springs scored twice in the bottom of the seventh after loading the bases with none out, making it 6-3. The Sky Sox extended the lead in the eighth when Shane Opitz hit a two-run homer. The Dodgers started off the ninth with three straight hits, including a RBI triple by Jake Peter and RBI double by Donovan Solano, cutting the deficit to 8-5 before the rally ran out of steam. Colorado Springs starting pitcher Bubba Derby (2-1) held the Dodgers to two runs and five hits over 5.1 innings to earn the win. He notched six strikeouts and two walks. Tim Dillard earned his first save. Dodgers starting pitcher Manny Bañuelos (4-2) lasted a season-low three innings, allowing four runs and six hits, with two walks and three strikeouts.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Brock Stewart (1-0) returns to OKC to make his fifth Triple-A start of the season, but first of May...Since his last outing for OKC April 25 vs. Iowa, Stewart has been recalled by Los Angeles and subsequently optioned to OKC three different times (see more below)...His three most recent appearances all came in relief for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and he last pitched May 11 against Cincinnati, allowing one run and one hit over 3.0 innings with two walks and two strikeouts. Overall in big league action this season, Stewart has allowed two runs and five hits over 5.2 IP to go along with five strikeouts and three walks. He's held ML opponents to a .238 batting average...While with OKC this season, Stewart owns a 1.02 WHIP and has held opponents to a .200 batting average, including 3-for-21 with runners on. The team is 3-1 in his starts...Stewart split last season between LAD and OKC while battling injury. With OKC, he went 0-1 with a 3.12 ERA over five starts with 25 K's and three walks...In 17 games (four starts) with LAD, Stewart posted a 3.41 ERA with 29 K's and 19 walks over 34.1 IP...Stewart advanced quickly through the Dodgers system in 2016, starting the season in High-A and ascending to the Majors to make his debut June 29 at Milwaukee. He was named the Dodgers' 2016 Branch Rickey Minor League Pitcher of the Year and to Baseball America's Minor League All-Star Team...Tonight is Stewart's first career appearance against the Sounds.

Home is Where the Hits Are: The Dodgers own the best home winning percentage in the Minors, going 17-3 (.850) to start the season at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. OKC is slashing .310/.376/.484 in OKC, scoring an average of 5.8 runs per home game. They team has scored eight-plus runs in six games and collected 14 or more hits in four games. They've scored four or more runs in an inning nine times...Henry Ramos and Donovan Solano pace the Dodgers' offense with 27 hits apiece at home, batting .397 and .429 respectively. Ramos also has a team-leading 18 RBI in Bricktown this season.

Growing Garlick: Kyle Garlick hit a two-run homer Monday night, belting his sixth homer in his last seven games and extending his hitting streak to seven games. Following a 2-for-21 start after his promotion to OKC, Garlick is 10-for-25 (.400) with six home runs and eight RBI. He now paces the Dodgers with six homers, and his 11 total homers between OKC and Double-A Tulsa lead all Dodgers minor leaguers this season. Additionally, his six homers since May 8 are tied for the most in the Minor Leagues along with High-A Inland Empire's Jared Walsh.

Jake-Up Call: Jake Peter led the Dodgers' offense Monday night, tallying a season-high four hits with a triple, RBI and run scored. It was his first four-hit game since Sept. 1, 2016 with Triple-A Charlotte against Norfolk...Entering tonight, he has hit safely in nine of his last 10 games, going 14-for-39 (.359)...This season when batting out of the leadoff spot, Peter is 11-for-30 (.367) with a .406 OBP.

Belated B-Day: Alex Verdugo celebrated his 22nd birthday Tuesday. In his three games since returning to the OKC Dodgers from the Los Angeles Dodgers, he is 4-for-11 with a double and two runs. Despite his tender age, Verdugo has slashed .310/.379/.442 in 139 career games at the Triple-A level with OKC.

C.C. Ya Later: Reliever C.C. Lee retired six of the seven batters he faced Monday, with four via strikeout. Entering tonight, Lee ranks second among PCL relievers with an average of 16.69 strikeouts per nine innings and third with a .113 opponent average. He has multiple strikeouts in seven straight appearances, whiffing 21 of the 39 batters he's faced during that span (53.8 percent).

Around the Horn: Tonight the Dodgers will look to avoid losing four straight games for the first time since July 9-15, 2017...Rocky Gale's team-best 13-game hitting streak came to an end Monday night. He batted .420 (21x50) during the streak with six extra-base hits (3 HR) and nine RBI while raising his season average from .200 to .341...Donovan Solano collected two hits Monday along with two RBI and paces the Dodgers with 43 hits through 32 games. His .352 batting average ranks fifth-best in the PCL.
